Church of the St. Wawrzyniec is located in the scenically the most beautiful part of the town.

The Church of the St. Wawrzyniec was built in the most beautiful scenically point of the city - on the hill, now the cemetery. About 1550 Zagórni brothers, townspeople of Mława, founded on in this place a wooden Church dedicated to the patron of the city. In 1786, the priests - missionaries built a new brick Church on the site of the old wooden one. It was built on a rectangular plan, in the style of the indoor Church. On the sides of the choir there were built square porch and vestry, where is the barrel – cross vault. In this state, the Church brought up to modern times. Quiet, late Baroque, a little classicist facade of small, modest, situated on a picturesque hill Church is the true pride of the city.
